PROJECT 1 ACTIONS!

My project consists of establishing a school club that would help kids with college readiness. This would include teaching my peers about the importance of studying for standardized tests, using Naviance, applying for scholarships, and much more. Through this club, my fellow peers would be able to gain a deeper understanding of how to prepare for college and life after high school. Now more than ever, students are feeling more and more overwhelmed with the prospect of figuring out college and things like scholarships. Throw an ongoing pandemic and a shift to a virtual school platform to the mix, and it leads to a recipe for disaster. This club is there to help guide students through the process and answer questions to lessen their feeling of panic and dread. Having a platform where students can individually get their questions answered and be guided through the process leads the club to have a more personalized and relatable feeling to the thousands of stressed high schoolers.
